1. Do I have to be a member to participate?

No, anyone is welcome to participate. Benefits of becoming a member include:
*Mailed Newsletter
*Reduced pricing on many events
*Special "member" only events.

2. How do I join the Wixom Seniors?

The Wixom Seniors activities component of the General Fund provides support and activities for Wixom and other area Senior Citizens including Walled Lake, Commerce Township and Novi. Activities include cards, bingo, exercise programs, potluck days, trips, recreational programs and socialization.

Registration Fee for Wixom Active Adult Program:

$7.00 for Wixom and Walled Lake residents (if you pay taxes to Walled Lake)
$12.00 for Commerce and all other communities

Yearly fees are due July 1st of each year and run through June 30th of the following year. If you are interested in registering for the Wixom Active Adult Program:

3. When do Senior Board Commission's Meetings take place?

The purpose of the commission is to act in an advisory capacity in all matters relating to the educational, cultural, and social programs of the Active Adults of the City of Wixom.

4. Will programs be canceled during inclement weather?

During inclement weather, Adult Active 50+ programs will be canceled when Walled Lake Schools are closed.
