Compressed Workweek Program
After realizing the benefits of a compressed work week, the program has been renewed and extended. The initiative is intended to extend financial resources, reduce operational costs, reduce taxpayer expense, reduce employee commute costs and time, and increase access to government during non-traditional work hours. City offices will be open 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday - Thursday. Police, Fire/Rescue, Library and DPW maintenance will be unaffected by the change. DPW office hours will be 7:00 am to 5:00 p.m. Monday -Thursday.
Wixom residents are reminded that the City's website, www.wixomgov.org contains valuable information regarding programs and services and provides links for recreation program registrations, utility payments, contact names and numbers, etc. Additionally, utility payments can also be made via the lock box payment system, by mail or by deposit into the collection box located in the entryway at the Police Department.
Questions regarding this program can be directed to the City Manager's Office at 248-624-0894.
