Water and Sewer Rates as of July 1, 2022

Effective July 1, 2022, an adjustment in the water and sewer rate structure was implemented. This adjustment was necessary to ensure that the City's Water and Sewer Funds will be adequate to operate, maintain and improve our systems in the future. The highlights of the new rates are as follows:

• The water commodity rate is $41.00 per thousand cubic feet (mcf)
• The new sewer commodity rate is $32.70 per mcf, with a maximum quarterly (sewer) residential cap of $147.20
• The residential sewer flat rate charge will be $96.25
• One thousand cubic feet (1 mcf) is equivalent to 7,480 gallons of water
• Residential water and sewer customer quarterly fixed charges rates are as follows:

• 5/8" and 3/4" = $55.75 quarterly for Water and $29.50 quarterly for Sewer
• 1" = $58.75 quarterly for Water and $35.75 quarterly for Sewer
• 1 1/2" = $231.00 quarterly and $151.50 quarterly for Sewer

• Flat rate Industrial Sewer only customer is $136.50 quarterly

We are pleased to report that Wixom's combined water and sewer rate remains one of the lowest in Oakland County!
