Ways kids can help with fire prevention at home

• Make sure your family has installed smoke detectors on each level of the house.
• Remind adults to check smoke detectors and replace the batteries when they change the clocks in the spring and fall.
• Help plan the family's escape in case of fire, and make sure everyone knows the outside meeting place.
